Justin Beiber's Never Say Never Movie Review

I will gladly admit that I drug my poor husband to see Never Say Never Director's Cut in 3D (with an extra 40 minutes of footage) last night. I recently became a Bieber fan and just absolutely adore this kid and all his amazing talent. Hubby didn't put up a fight and willingly put on his 3D glasses to watch it with me. Within the first 5 seconds, and all the screaming teenage girls in the theater, we knew what we had just signed ourselves up for. But then again, at that age, I was the same way about N'SYNC (yes, I was crazily obsessed with them). My 3 year old son has went from a die hard Michael Jackson fan, to an Usher lover, and now he has Bieber Fever too. I also have to tell you about my friend's 2 year old daughter who is CRAZY about Justin Beiber. She has a doll, posters in her room, and listens to him non-stop. I think it's the cutest thing ever. During her trip to see Never Say Never, she said many times during the movie "Hi Beiber. I love you".

Cherchies Specialty Foods Review & Giveaway

One of my favorite things about the holidays is going to Christmas Village here in Nashville, which is where I found
"The Champagne of Gourmet Foods".

"Cherchies Specialty Foods was founded in 1978 by Diantha “Cherchie” Nason who at the time was a nurse at a local hospital. Cherchie would whip up batches of her delicious hot/sweet mustard using her grandmother’s recipe and present them as holiday gifts to her fellow nurses and doctors. As the Champagne Mustard developed a following she began to sell to local gourmet and cheese shops. Because of her success, she left nursing to concentrate on the small business she named Cherchies Ltd."

Cherchie's has a wide variety of soups, mustards, seasonings, hot pepper jellies, and more!

And a few of their soups that I'm dying to try:

Cherchie's sent me 3 of their soups to try and tell you all about, as well as offer 2 of my readers the chance to win those same 3 soups, and the rest of my readers a discount coupon! So now I will give you my review of each soup. Keep in mind, I am not a huge soup fan. When I was pregnant with my son  3 years ago, that was the one thing that made me sick and I have no idea why! My husband will eat anything though, and I'm always looking for new easy things to cook now that I juggle the kids, my house, and my love for blogging! So I am going to be honest with you all, that's what reviews are for, right?

What I love about these soups is that EVERYTHING is included in the pack except the meat, some water, and maybe a few other things like butter, olive oil, or a little flour. They were all extremely easy and quick which I LOVE! You can also freeze them!

A delicious blend of noodle squares, vegetables, chicken, and seasonings. As this was simmering, my entire house smelled amazing. I couldn't wait to eat it! I made some buttery biscuits with it and we dove right in. I've even been eating leftovers of it because these soup packs make SO much (about 9, 1 cup servings).

My thoughts on Chicken Pot Pie Soup: Tasty! We both liked it with our buttery biscuits! My mom even said it sounded delicious. Do I recommend it? Yes I sure do! The recipe on the pack says you can make dumplings to go in it, and if I had the patience for that I know it would've been even better!

A classic chowder made with corn, vegetables, seasoning, rice, and pasta. This was my first time eating corn chowder. This particular soup mix does not contain much salt, to help reduce sodium intake for Cherchie's consumers, so you will need to add salt to taste! Again, really easy and quick!

My thoughts on Corn Chowder: Not a fan. But as I said before, I'm not a big soup eater. Maybe if it were a but more thick or had some meat in it I would like it more.... which I know you could easily add some chicken if desired. Maybe I will try that some time! Just as the other soups, this one made soooooo much! It would literally feed your family for days, no joke!

I just knew by the name that my husband would LOVE this one. He loves anything remotely spicy, and anything he can dip chips in. Plus, he's pretty easy to please. This is one of Cherchie's best selling soups, and is a spicy combination of ground turkey, vegetables, and seasonings. The Mexican Tortilla soup also smelled wonderful when it was cooking and was thicker than the others, which I liked! Another fast meal!

My thoughts on Mexican Tortilla Soup: Very very good! Instead of eating it as a soup, we sorta used it as a dip! You can also crumble tortilla chips or fresh strips of tortillas into your soup if you would like. Did we like it? Heck yes we did!

Ready to try some of Cherchie's Specialty Foods?!?
Good, because here is your chance....

Clean Screen Review

What do your electronics look like? If your family is anything like mine you own several TV's, cameras, phones, computers, and DVD's/CD's. You may also have children who put grubby little hands all over these electronics. I know my 3 year old does. Well I found a product that is safe to use on all these items to get them clean. You can even use it on tinted car windows!

Tuesday Blog Hops

God Gave Us the World Book Review

I absolutely love reading to my children. Maybe it's the preschool teacher in me, and knowing how very important it is for kids to be read to on a daily basis, several times a day. My son has a large book collection and when I joined Blogging For Books, I was so excited to see that I had the opportunity to review a children's book called "God Gave Us the World" by Lisa Tawn Bergren and art by Laura J. Bryant.

Synopsis:
A mother polar bear and her daughter talk about all of the different types of bears in our great big world that God created just for us. Mother bear explains to her baby that there are many different places to live as well. Baby bear us quite curious and loves to ask questions about why God didn't just make everyone the same, and what other bears eat. A story all about God's creation of different bears and the Earth, and his love for everyone.

Ages:
Children 3-8 years old

Book Information:
WaterBrook Press   ISBN# 9781400074488    Price- $10.99

My Review:
I recently began taking my children to church and really wanting to introduce God into my family, especially to my three year old son who has been acting out for some time, since just before his baby sister was born. I sat down to read this to him (who normally won't sit still for a book for very long), sat attentively and listened to the entire story. It was a great story to begin explaining to him who God is, and how our world was created from God's awesome power. I even had my 3 month old daughter in my lap too. In my days as a preschool teacher, we are taught to incorporate multiculturalism in our classrooms in every way possible, especially in reading to the children. "God Gave Us the World" is a perfect example of teaching young children that everyone is different, and come from many different cultures around the world. I wish I had this book when I was teaching. As I'm writing this, my son is standing here begging me to read it to him again. We have a winner!

Buy It:
You can buy God Gave Us the World at Amazon.com for as low as $9.00

The Portable Pediatrician Book Review

I cannot tell you how many times I have had to take my children (mostly my 3 year old) to the doctor for the smallest thing because I wasn’t sure what it was. He was attending childcare most of his life until recently, so we saw some pretty strange things. You can search all day online and find a million different answers. How frustrating.

Vedette Shapewear Review & Giveaway

First of all, let me tell you how SEXY I feel today wearing my new shapewear from Vedette!

I'm going to be honest with you ladies, this is NOT something I would normally go buy. I've owned a few compression garments and just wasn't crazy about them. They were ugly, uncomfortable, and didn't help enough for me to want to wear them regularly. I know many women wear them on a daily basis. However, I've always wanted a full body shapewear piece to try because I definitely still have my baby pooch and areas I would like to tone. I'm working on getting my body where I want, and I'm determined to have that hour glass shape that every women wants! But for now, that's not happening.... and I have found the perfect product to give me that look in the meantime!

Hopping & Wordless Wednesday

I haven't done any blog hopping all week and I have TONS of great reviews and giveaways coming soon, so I figure I should gain some followers before then!

Lets get hopping...

Natural Skin Shop Skin Peel Review

A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to skin peel order my choice of and try it at home to review for all of my readers from The Natural Skin Shop. I will be honest, I had NO idea what a skin peel was until I began reading, but it sure sounded “refreshing” and I really wanted to give it a whirl. I decided on the 20% Glycolic Acid peel, because I am young and my skin can be sensitive at times. I have never used many skin care products and simply use a regular face cleaner to wash my makeup off and that's it. Now, I will highly recommend this product to everyone!

Hallmark Recordable Storybooks Review

Have you seen these adorable storybooks from Hallmark????

My mom and dad got one for my son this weekend for Valentine's Day. It is absolutely precious and now he can hear Nana read to him any time he wants (which he has listened to nonstop since he got it yesterday). This is so perfect for families who live far away, or for military parents to give to their children while their deployed. My son loves his book and keeps telling me "I really love my Nana book".

My DIY project this morning

My plan is to start making bow holders. Way more fancy and different from this one, but I wanted to share how it turned out because this is so easy!

I went to Goodwill this morning and got this ugly picture:

While I was there I got a plain yellow sheet for $3 that is big enough for me to use for many projects in the future.
