T-Shirt Quilt by Fanfastic With Fabrics {Review}

When I first saw T-Shirt quilts online, I knew I had to have one for my husband. He grew up playing sports from the time he was a toddler until just a few years ago when he left college and joined the Army. Even then he enjoyed playing for fun. He has an incredible amount of t-shirts from little league tournaments, high school championships, and college. I was determined to get one made for him with some of his t-shirts to give him something to hang onto instead of a million t-shirts that no longer fit, and something to show him I appreciate him. That's when I had my Oprah "Ah ha" moment.... what a perfect Father's Day gift! An even more exciting moment was when my I Love My Daddy event sponsor made one for me!

Marie at Fantastic With Fabrics is a stay at home mom of a 3 year old in New York, and loves to do anything and everything crafty she can get her hands on.... might I add she is quite good at it! Now of course DH got his Father's Day early for the purpose of this review and to go along with the I Love My Daddy event.... but also because I am ridiculously impatient and wanted to see the look on his face. I will admit, I'm an awesome gift giver and always plan early and put tons of thought into my giving, it's just my nature. So once my package came my son and I admired the blanket then wrapped it up for Daddy. As soon as DH got home, we made him sit down to rip it open (well my son did the ripping, and our daughter just watched). You can see by the smile on his face that he really loved it!!!! I was very pleased. I know she had a hard choice on which shirts to use because I sent her enough shirts to make a tent!

Blog Bash Sponsor Spotlight: Lil' Teammates {Early Entries}

Before I met my husband, I despised sports! Nothing about it appealed to me. But when I met him and realized what a sports fanatic he is, I learned to love them... especially baseball! I began watching and soon was a dedicated Cardinals fan along with my husband and all his family and friends! However we disagree on football teams. I will always support my Tennessee Titans, and he is a Chicago Bears kinda guy. So naturally when I came across Lil' Teammates I knew I had to have some for my husband and his "man room" (which he has since given up so I could open an in home daycare).
